Stanley S. Paras, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Paras received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed his residency training in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He joined the Practice in 1981 and is a managing partner. Dr. Paras is married with two children.

Sharon L. Van Tuil, M.D., F.A.A.P.

After receiving her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Dr. Van Tuil completed her residency in pediatrics at Rhode Island Hospital. She joined the Practice in 1986 and is a managing partner. Dr. Van Tuil is married to a pediatrician. They have two children, a son and daughter.

Martin E. Schwartzberg, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Schwartzberg received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, and completed his pediatric residency at Boston Floating Hospital for Infants and Children. He has been with the Practice since 1992, and is also a managing partner. Dr. Schwartzberg is married with three sons.

Rochelle J. Heit, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Heit received her medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science at Brooklyn. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, and has been with the Practice since 1994. Dr. Heit is married to a pediatrician and has twins, a boy and a girl.

Alix Handelsman, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Handelsman received her medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. Following her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Washington, DC, she completed a fellowship at Children's Hospital in Boston. She joined the Practice in 1988 and is married with two sons.

Helen G. Poremba, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Poremba received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and completed her residency in pediatrics at Keesler Air Force Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. Dr. Poremba joined the Practice in 2007. Dr. Poremba is married to an endocrinologist and has four children.

Cathy received her Masters degree in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing, graduating with honors. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP). Cathy joined the Practice in 1998. She is married with three children.
